The Best Practices for Network for Educator Effectiveness (NEE) Implementation

Module Objectives

Over half of the schools in Missouri are currently members of the Network for Educator Effectiveness (NEE). This activity provides information on the development of NEE and the materials and processes it offers to schools, and the recommended strategies for success. Estimated time to complete: 75 to 100 minutes.

This module is related to NEE Indicator 1.1, 1.2, 1.8, 2.1, 2.3, 3.1, 8.1

At the end of this module, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the background of teacher evaluation leading to the development of The Network for Educator Effectiveness

  2. Explain the goals of NEE

  3. Describe the significance of a growth model for teacher evaluation and how it differs from earlier models of evaluation

  4. Describe strategies an administrator can use to ensure success with the NEE process
