Cooperative Learning

Module Objectives

This module provides an introduction to cooperative learning as a unique classroom strategy that not only creates real world experiences for students, but teaches them the social skills needed in everyday life. It defines cooperative learning and explores the key elements needed for it to be effective. It also looks at cooperative learning groups and their importance in the success of a cooperative learning classroom. The final activity in this module provides a brief description of the implementation process and the preparation needed to be successful. Estimated time to complete: 40-60 Minutes.
