Module Objectives
Both formative and summative assessments play an important role in planning and developing learning experiences to meet learning expectations. Technology can enhance the assessment process by providing options that make the collection and analysis of data more efficient and feedback more meaningful. This module briefly examines the various purposes for both formative and summative assessments, and then elaborates on how technology might be integrated into assessment practices. Estimated time to complete: 30-45 minutes.
