Formative Assessment Strategy Cards (PDF) - NEE created this set of formative assessment strategy cards. The strategies were collected from a number of sources and can be printed off, if desired. The strategies are presented along with the source (if known), a detailed procedure for effective use, a description of why and how it might be used to gauge understanding and a marking system allowing teachers to sort by active learning, technology, exit slips and other characteristics.
