Indicator Description
Indicator 4.1 - The teacher uses instructional strategies that lead students to problem-solving and critical thinking.
NOTE: In ECE, critical thinking may involve allowing learners to use materials in unique ways, looking at problems in different ways, generating their own ideas, or actively discovering, investigating, exploring, constructing, and creating. Also may involve letting learners take risks, experiment, and make mistakes. Another example includes allowing learners to lead and then following their lead.
